This class was developed to address officer responses to Critical Incidents or “Toxic” experiences that have the potential to emotionally cripple officers and to address the “corrosive” or cumulative effects of the job that assault officers every day.
The FIP Training Program for Patrol Officers is an 8-hour program that applies the modern science of bias to policing; it trains officers on the effect of unconscious bias and gives them the information and skills they need to reduce and manage their biases.
Understanding appropriate techniques and practices in the Interview & Interrogation process is the first step in increasing an individual’s knowledge, skill and ability.
This class is the required training for officers who have not been certified in Speed Measurement Devices.
