DESCRIPTION:Through media presentation\, innovative tactics and instructional techniques\, this class prepares participants to become trainers in rapid deployment intervention techniques. DESCRIPTION:THIS CLASS IS CANCELED \nThis class is the required training for officers who have not been certified in Speed Measurement Devices.  Additionally\, it is highly recommended for those that\, as a matter of agency assignment\, have not operated a RADAR unit for the past year or more.  If any personnel only need the LIDAR portion of the training\, they can register separately for the class which is the first four hours of day 3. \nParticipants will need to bring a department vehicle equipped with a RADAR unit and/or LIDAR.  Upon completion participants in the 3-day training will be certified in the operation of both RADAR units and LIDAR which is valid for five (5) years. \nInstructor:  Jon Strom\, MCOLES Approved Radar/Lidar instructor. \nDates:  November 10-11\, and 29\, 2022\, 8:30am – 4:30pm \nLocation:  Grand Blanc Township Police Department\, 5405 S.
