SUMMARY:Abandoned Vehicle Law Update
DESCRIPTION:This course will familiarize police officers\, records specialists\, property managers and other law enforcement personnel that are tasked with dealing with abandoned vehicles\, with the changes to the laws and procedures pertaining with this topic. It will provide information for the proper processing\, potential criminal violations and civil liability. This also will help facilitate communication between law enforcement and the towing industry. \nInstructor:  Lt. Lance Cook\, Lt. Cook is currently assigned to the Special Operations Division of the Michigan State Police (Field Support and Aviation Section\, Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit).  He was previously assigned to the Bay City Post along with the Traffic Safety Division. \nCost:  LEORTC Member Licensed Officers – Prepaid\, LEORTC Non-Licensed Personnel – $20.00 p/p \nNon-Member agencies $45.00 p/p \nClick HERE to Register \n“This training has been registered with MCOLES for the use of PA 302 Law Enforcement Distribution funds.”
