SUMMARY:Speed Measurement Devices
DESCRIPTION:This class is the required training for officers who have not been certified in Speed Measurement Devices.  Additionally\, it is highly recommended for those that\, as a matter of agency assignment\, have not operated a RADAR unit for the past year or more.  If any personnel only need the LIDAR portion of the training\, they can register separately for the class which is the first four hours of day 3. \nParticipants will need to bring a department vehicle equipped with a RADAR unit and/or LIDAR.  Upon completion participants in the 3 day training will be certified in the operation of both RADAR units and LIDAR which is valid for five (5) years. \nInstructor:  Jon Strom\, MCOLES Approved Radar/Lidar instructor. \nClass Size:           Limited to 15 \nCost:                      LEORTC Member Licensed Officers – Prepaid \nNon-Member Agencies –   $125.00 p/p \n“This training has been registered with MCOLES for the use of PA 302 Law Enforcement Distribution funds.” \nClick HERE to Register
