SUMMARY:Patrol Rifle Instructor Course
DESCRIPTION:Patrol Rifle Instructor\n\n\nThe student of this training will gain the knowledge of how to articulate and instruct the safe carry and storage; care and maintenance; sighting; setting up and engaging in live-fire drills; functions of the rifle and more to future operators of semi-auto patrol rifles. Pre-requisites for this class:  this course is for already certified firearms (pistol) instructors with basic AR15 user/operator course certification.  These certificates need to be presented to the instructors on the first day of class.  Only iron sights are permitted during the course with electronic sights familiarization on the last day.  This course follows the military model of marksmanship and ALL students must have a 2 point sling (attaches to the toe of the stock and to the front sling swivel under the barrel) to obtain stability of the weapon. \nThis is not a participation pass course.  Certification is awarded based upon daily evaluations of progress\, a written outline and verbal presentation of a topic\, written test\, and qualification course of fire. \nCourse Instructors: Thomas Royal & Bruce Coxworth\, Certified Firearms/Patrol Rifle Instructors \n\n\n\nLimited Seats Available\n\n\n\nCourse Location:  Auburn City Range\, the Auburn Shooting Range is located on Lagoon Drive (1/4 mile south of Wheeler Rd on 9 Mile) \nCourse Fee:             LEORTC Licensed Members – Prepaid \nDelta College Consortium Members: $325.00 per person \nNon-Consortium: $525.00 per person \nRequired Equipment: Semi-auto patrol rifle\, 3 magazines\, cleaning equipment\, 1\,000 rounds of rifle ammunition\, duty belt and holstered duty pistol with 100 rounds of pistol ammunition\, body armor\, eye and ear protection\, baseball style cap\, roll out mat (for prone shooting)\, ‘clean’ 2G (or larger) flash drive for power point program and a laptop computer.
