DESCRIPTION:THIS CLASS WAS CANCELED.  WE WILL ATTEMPT TO OFFER IT AGAIN IN THE FALL. \nThis course will train candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid\, CPR and AED courses. This training has been updated to include 2010 ECC Guidelines.  At the conclusion of this First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor course\, participants should be thoroughly familiar with the program materials and be able to\, among other things: \n\nConduct courses in a manner that helps participants to stay engaged in the learning process.\nPerform applicable First Aid\, APR and AED skills at an appropriate skill level.\nMaintain complete and accurate records and reports.\nPlan\, organize and conduct the courses in accordance with the requirements of the class they will be teaching.\nMonitor participants’ practice and provide corrective feedback and encouragement that is consistent with the skill\nchart.\n\nPREREQUISITE:   Must be certified in Basic Red Cross or American Heart Association first aid. \nClass Size:               Limited to 12 \nInstructor(s):           Red Cross certified First Aid Instructor-Trainers. \nCost:                        LEORTC Member Licensed Officers – Prepaid \nAll Others – $95 p/p \nREGISTRATION FORM
