SUMMARY:Emergency Vehicle Operation - EVO
DESCRIPTION:THIS CLASS IS FULL\, PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR OTHER DATES SCHEDULED FOR EVO THIS YEAR \nParticipants will start the day at Mott College – Clio and after instruction proceed to Auto City Speedway. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis 1-day refresher will provide a review of the laws and policies related to emergency vehicle operation\, pursuits\, and the proper course of action based on related circumstances. \nThis training should be taken by officers that have not had the course within the last three years. \nAs a matter of safety\, and as a condition of participation\, officers will be asked to sign the Course Rules Memorandum. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nIn addition to the regular skills review\, students will participate in a pursuit check ride with an instructor. Students are required to attend all class hours and successfully complete the course to receive a certificate. \nEquipment Needed: –Department police car in proper operating condition \n-Uniform of the day (recommended) \n-Duty belt and body armor (recommended) \nLoose items must be removed from the trunk and passenger compartments of the vehicles. \nNo more than two officers per vehicle. \nNo shorts\, sandals\, or pocket weapons. \nInstructor:              LEORTC Member Certified EVO Instructors \nClass Size:               Limited to 16 \nCost:                        LEORTC Member Licensed Officers – Prepaid Non-Member Agencies – $150.00 p/p \nRegistration:           Initial Registrations Limited to (2) Per Agency – Remainder on Waiting List \nREGISTRATION FORM
