This 2 day (12 hour) course is designed to refresh and remind the Field Training Officer (FTO) of the responsibilities and duties regarding field training. Each FTO will be provided a refresher of the basic evaluation techniques for the field training program as well as the importance of adult learning theory in correcting poor performance.
This course will familiarize police officers, records specialists, property managers and other law enforcement personnel that are tasked with dealing with abandoned vehicles.

This seminar will include a review of current legislation affecting law enforcement as well as an update on Search & Seizure, Laws of Arrest, Interviews, and Search Warrant issues.

This 4-day course is designed to provide knowledge and training to develop Field Training Officers’ skills. Each new FTO will be presented with ideas and techniques to assist them in becoming more professional and confident in the application of their skills. This course is based on a modified “San Jose” program.
