This training program focuses on perimeter containment of Fleeing Subjects while utilizing Man-Tracking skills, deploying K-9, utilization of aviation support, and possibly LPOP’s (Listening Points / Observation Points).
The course will start with licensing and a complete overview of the application process. Officers will gain an in-depth knowledge of Michigan liquor laws. The class will continue with a community-based approach to working with licensed establishments to reduce and prevent calls for service.

This training also encompasses the 4 hour Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) Refresher training.
